Standard Chartered is adding BlackRock’s Aladdin Wealth platform to its myWealth Advisor service, aiming to boost the bank’s wealth advisory and risk‑management tools for affluent clients.
Integration details and expected benefits
The partnership will initially roll out in Singapore and Hong Kong, covering the bank’s Priority, Priority Private and Private Banking segments. The integration will embed Aladdin Wealth’s portfolio analytics into the existing myWealth Advisor interface used by relationship managers and investment advisers.
Aladdin Wealth supplies risk and return analysis for equities, fixed income, funds, ETFs and alternative assets. It also offers stress‑testing and scenario‑analysis features that let advisers illustrate how portfolios might behave under various market conditions. The added tools should give advisers a consolidated view of portfolio risks and broader analytics, supporting more data‑driven conversations with clients.
Samir Subberwal, global head of wealth solutions, retail products, data & analytics, said the move “strengthens how we deliver personalised, insights‑led advice at scale” while equipping frontline staff with “advanced tools to support more informed conversations.”

Client impact and rollout plan
Clients in the targeted regions will receive a single platform that combines unique data, artificial intelligence and human expertise. The bank expects the enhanced service to enable advisers to craft more tailored investment strategies, aligning with evolving client expectations.
Susan Chan, head of Asia Pacific at BlackRock, noted that the collaboration “reflects our shared commitment to delivering innovative client solutions” and supports the bank’s digital innovation agenda through improved portfolio risk capabilities.
The rollout will start with the two Asian markets mentioned, but Standard Chartered intends to expand the offering to additional locations over time. The broader objective is to provide a unified view of portfolio performance that can be accessed across the bank’s wealth‑management hierarchy.

By consolidating data from multiple asset classes into one interface, advisers can spend less time gathering information and more time interpreting it for client benefit.
MyWealth Advisor already blends the bank’s Chief Investment Office house views with expert insights to help clients spot investment opportunities. With Aladdin Wealth’s tools layered on top, the platform now includes capabilities such as scenario‑based stress testing, which can illustrate potential outcomes for a client’s holdings under different economic conditions.
The collaboration arrives as wealth managers worldwide seek to meet growing client demands for transparency and personalization. By leveraging BlackRock’s technology, Standard Chartered hopes to stay competitive in a market where digital solutions increasingly shape client expectations.
